Then if thats the case then DA should delete all of the hand drawn anime as the are reproductions of copyrighted works, and i am guessing that 90% of all that work by all these deviants are committing copyright theft and there for all should be reported.
I am designing themes for the iPhone/iTouch therefore the buttons are the most important feature in the works.

And just cause you got a wallpaper free from some other site that doesn't mean the one who made the wallpaper had permission to use the images.
Hand drawn anime is called fan-art.
If you haven't created it yourself then don't upload it unless you have a real permission from the creator of the image.
And my guess is that you don't have permission to use any of the images.

Heres a little info from someone in the know, as an artist myself. Anyone posting images on free for use hosting sites does so with prior knowledge that any download, distribution, copying etc of that image is in fact thereafter at the discretion of the user. To put copyright images on these sites is a breech of site policy and illegal. The poster is the responsible party, not the user, as they are in the belief that all images are not protected and free to use. The host site admin should pic up on anyone doing this pretty quickly, as most users have a conscience and report copyright images. So, Gaara is indeed within his right to have the image for his own use, and for distribution thereafter, and modify it at his leisure, without infringing on any copy protection law.
PS, there is more to life than being sad enough to continue such insignificant, petty harassment on what is indeed an open and shut issue. Heres £10, go get a life! Or download one from a free-host, they're free to use after all.
